The former MVP wants to leave Wisconsin so here's the best spots for him.

I’m frantically typing this just as soon as I heard the news a few minutes ago and I can’t believe this.
I’m frantically typing this just as soon as I heard the news a few minutes ago and I can’t believe this.
That’s right, folks. AARON FREAKING RODGERS WANTS OUT. The reigning NFL MVP wants out so let’s do what every network, blog, and podcast will love to do, rank his best landing spots so let’s get into it.
Denver Broncos
This is the most logical spot even though you're probably thinking "What the hell?" Hear me out on this. Denver's stacked on defense with one of the best safeties in Justin Simmons, a pair of great pass rushers in Bradley Chubb and Von Miller who's going to be fresh coming off injury that ended his season early.
On offense, the Broncos are going to get back star wideout Courtland Sutton and wideouts Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler comprise one of the best wide receiver groups in the entire league and Melvin Gordon is still capable of being a solid running back to lean on to take the load off Rodgers if needed.
From Green Bay's side, this makes sense because Rodgers flips conferences and Green Bay could snag the No. 9 overall pick which gives it a chance to build its defense or get another weapon (even though they never did that WITH Rodgers).
Chicago Bears
Poetic Justice isn’t it? Brett Favre donned the purple and gold as a member of the Minnesota Vikings in 2009, so does Chicago grab the last Super Bowl-winning quarterback for Cheeseland? Now, the Bears do have the second least amount of cap room according to OvertheCap.com, which doesn’t help in the slightest BUT the Bears have the No. 20 overall pick in tonight’s draft and could offer some great pieces.
Chicago's compensation would have to be costly but as long as it retains Khalil Mack and Roquan Smith, this defense is still one of the top units in the league which will be huge for Chicago's success.
While the Packers likely won’t trade within the NFC North, (that’d be one good decision they’ve made) Rodgers going to The WIndy City would save that entire organization.
New England Patriots
Is this the moment Aaron Rodgers embraces the Dark Side and joins the Death Star? This news seems like Bill Belichick is once again playing 3D chess and the rest of the NFL is playing checkers for dummies. The Patriots have made it known that they want to compete this year with spending more money than ever before under Belichick’s regime.
If there’s any team that could pull this off, it would be the Patriots and Rodgers surrounded with Johnu Smith, Hunter Henry and a top wideout prospect in this year’s draft while backed by a defense that will improve after signing Mathew Judon and Kyle Van Noy would immediately put New England into contention for a Lombardi trophy.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Ben Roethlisberger is clearly not the player he once was and if the resounding 48-37 playoff loss to the Cleveland Browns taught us anything, it’s that Pittsburgh does not have a long term plan at the quarterback position.
If they get Aaron Rodgers? That’s at least another five years of great QB play and the stout defense headlined by Minkah Fitzpatrick and TJ Watt would be a great blend to unleash playmakers like Chase Claypool and JuJu Smith-Schuster.
